The Tree of Life

Besides providing a template of the various spiritual Archetypes of life and their relationships, the Tree of Life in particular describes the types and levels of intelligence and consciousness that exist in the universe and are possible for us to reach, explore, embody and develop.

Each Archetype is an intelligence, and all intelligence is that which ensouls or gives form to the divine wisdom, enabling the wisdom to be manifested and known.

Not only does the Tree of Life indicate the paths to follow and the levels to attain, like a ladder of consciousness reaching to the highest heaven, it also shows us how the various polarities of life relate to each other and find their harmonious expression. 

The archetypal pattern of the Tree of Life constitutes a fundamental geometry that lies behind all life, which expresses the divine wisdom. It consists of a mathematical pattern of ten Sephiroth (‘Ciphers’, ‘Numbers’). Besides being a geometric focal point, each Sephira is a gate of wisdom and the consciousness associated with that wisdom.

Moving through this geometric form in a carefully guided way can be a powerful and revelatory experience, sometimes stimulating expansions of consciousness, and sometimes bestowing healing and inspiration.

Like the Wheel of Life, the Tree of Life enshrines and reveals the sequence and relationship of the various stages of the life process and degrees of initiation.
